Borrowed from God
I don't do it every day, but I do it. It also feels good to look at what is good in your life and be thankful to our Heavenly Glorious God the Father for all the things I have in my life. I believe that all things that I have right now are loaned by God and He can take it away any moment. I want to show Him that I appreciate and I am grateful and I pray and I ask that He allows me to use these blessings for a longer time.
My Grateful List
1. My relationship with God - you see, I have not been close to my real father. Ever since I was a teenager, I have turned to our God as my Father. Someone I talk to, provide for my needs, cry and whine. To be very honest, He has been good to me. My life has been easy and I am happy that I have Him in my life and always.
2. I am grateful for my Husband - he was my long term crush since high school. We have lost touch for more than 10 years, then suddenly there he was and now he is my husband. He is a good husband and a loving and hands-on father to our baby.
3. My baby boy - I have PCOS, I never thought that I will have a baby. But just after 4 months after our marriage we were pregnant!
4. My job and my Team- I have a love hate relationship with my job. Part of it because of the stress associated with it. I'm actually good at managing people and I'm good at my job. But part of me is saying that I should be doing something else with my time. I wanted to create, design, craft and be free. However, of course I need money. I have 6 figure monthly salary and that pays for my family's needs and even wants. Currently I started working from home and its not as hectic. But I still hate it when I am being scolded, blamed and judged for the things that my team did or I missed. I do admit, in technical stuff, my Indian colleagues are better than me, like creating presentations, analysis and numbers. I can do all those too, but mine is more practical, theirs is more elaborate. One thing though, I have the leadership and a great team that I have groomed, that they don't have, so I guess we are even. Anyways, once I have achieved my goals I will have the freedom to do what I want.
5. My Staff - These days, its hard to get yaya, maid, "boy" who are trust worthy and affordable. But I have been blessed with 3. I have 1 assistant that takes care of all household chores that I cant do since I'm working, 1 nanny to take care of my baby, and 1 male assistant for my husband for chores outside the house and manly stuff. We are a family and I'm grateful to have them in our lives because they make our lives easy.
6. My and my families health - despite this pandemic, I am grateful that my family and relatives have been spared from COVID and any diseases.
7. My Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister - My mom and dad are both senior citizens now, but they are healthy and happy. They are still productive and enjoy their cellphones hehe. I am grateful that God gave them longer life and good health so my son can still be with them.
8. Our Home - Our house is big, and has an open layout. The construction was not too great and has a lot to be fixed, but we live free and we fit (sort of). So I am grateful because, I can use the money for housing for some other things that could bring me more money.
There are so many things to be grateful for but these are the big tickets. I pray to God that He continues to lend me these blessings while we are living.
Our beloved and ever-living God thank You for the wonderful life that you have given me and my family. I pray that You will not leave my side and be my Father, my Protector, my Savior, my Provider and my shoulder to cry on for as long as I live. I love You God...
